Shortathon TBR

short-a-thon

Hey lovelies! 💛✨

I am here with my tbr for the Short-a-thon and I couldn’t be more excited! I have been hoarding short books for this brand new readathon being hosted by Destiny @ Howling Libraries and Karen @ Books and Munches since its announcement.

If the name didn’t give it away, the readathon is all about tackling the shortest books on your tbr. You can see all the deets on the host’s announcement posts but the basics are this:

  • It runs from the 21st of December to the 31st in your timezone
  • The hashtag across all the social media platforms is #shortathon18
  • There’s a Twitter account (@shortathon) for sprints and daily challenges

I was inspired by Destiny’s announcement post to do my tbr a little differently than normal. Instead of choosing specific titles to read, I’ve made a list of all my owned ebooks under 225 pages and all of the graphic novels/short books I have out from the library at the moment. My goal is just to try and read as many as I can without pushing myself too much. If you see anything you’d recommend making a priority, pls let me know in the comments!

  1. Awesome that you’re joining us for the Short-a-thon! 😀

I can’t help but love the stacks of thin books people are making, haha. It looks so different than the stacks of big books we normally see everywhere.

I really enjoyed Dear Martin – hope you will as well! 🙂 Added you to the list of participants too.

Let the countdown for the start of this read-a-thon begin! 😀

  4. I’m participating! I love this idea because I prefer short books. I’d rather read three 100 pages books than one 300 page books and I never read books over 400. I’ve not read any of your books because I read almost exclusively nonfiction which is what my list is made of.
